Introducing Raphael and Kutira's adopted son Tenzin Sherab. Before it was even released, Tenzin's album was already a hit in Bhutan, used in the daily programming at a popular radio station. Tenzin brings a new voice, blending the deep rhythms of ancient Tibet with world beat percussion. Deeply honoring all Tibetans in exile, this collection of songs and prayers is his first step toward reclaiming a connection to the Global Tibetan community.

Tibet was invaded by China in 1949 and 1.2 million Tibetans have perished in the conflict. Hundreds of thousands of Tibetans have fled the country and today are living around the Globe, mostly as refugees. China continues to occupy Tibet with military force.

Tenzin Sherab was born to Tibetan refugee parents in India and attended the TCV (Tibetan Children’s Village) school in Dharamsala. He performed traditional Tibetan Dance and is a self-taught musician. Tenzin lives on the island of Maui, Hawaii, USA; the home of his sponsors and adopted parents Kutira and Raphael.

Tenzin's hope is that this album will inspire others to realize that the time has come for every one of us to find our voice in whatever is close to our hearts.
